
Executive Coaching
My view of executive coaching is that it is an intensive developmental experience provided individually to a senior manager or professional who is interested in:
- Improving his or her overall effectiveness
- Managing through a transition
- Designing a more impactful leadership style
- Preparing for even larger responsibilities
Coaching is usually a visible service within the organization; a number of stakeholders are included as sources of information or as part of the action plan. However, the individual executive is considered to be the primary client, and the conversations are held confidential.
Typical engagements are for six months with continuation an option. If appropriate, some clients may complete personality or style self-report measures. Meetings may be either at the client’s office or at my midtown location.
Recent clients have been from a variety of business sectors including financial services, law, consumer products, real estate, technology and pharmaceuticals, as well as several non-profit organizations.
